Thì hiện tại hoàn thành Present Perfect và Thì quá khứ đơn Past Simple Present perfect Past simple Chúng ta dùng thì hiện tại hoàn thành để nói một hành động bắt đầu trong quá khứ và còn tiếp tục đến hiện tại. Chúng ta dùng thì quá khứ đơn để nói một hành động bắt đầu và kết thúc trong quá khứ. Ví dụ Mr. Brown has worked in this factory for eight years. = He still works here now. Chúng ta thường dùng quá khứ đơn với thời gian xác định rõ definite time như là yesterday, last week/year/month, three years ago, in 2006… Ví dụ We’ve only been to Scotland once.
